Removable Batteries
Some mobile devices, particularly older smartphones and certain business laptops, feature user-removable batteries. When replacing removable batteries, always power down the device completely before removal. Never attempt to remove a battery while the device is operating, as this can cause data loss or system damage.
Locate the battery release mechanism, which may be a latch, sliding cover, or removable panel. Remove the old battery by gently lifting it from its compartment, avoiding excessive force. Install the new battery by aligning the contacts properly and pressing firmly until it seats completely. Verify that the battery latch or cover secures properly before powering on the device.
