PC BenchHarden the Workstation Firmware
(OBJ.3.5)
Scenario
This Office Tower SD-100 is fully assembled and boots fine, but its firmware is wide open: no administrator password, USB Boot left on, and Secure Boot off. Anyone who reboots this machine right now can change any setting or boot a flash drive of their choosing. Lock it down: set a firmware administrator password, turn USB Boot off, and turn Secure Boot on — then confirm the machine still boots normally into Windows. The work order specifies the password: Sup3rvisor! Sign in with the local Repair account, password Repair!23.
How the workbench works
- Tap a part or cable in the tray, then tap where it glows on the bench to place it. Dragging works too.
- Bench, Inside, Back and Monitor along the top turn the camera to that side of the PC.
- The power button is on the front of the case. Monitor opens the screen full size; turn your phone sideways to read it.
- Pinch to zoom the bench. On the full-size screen, pinch or double-tap to zoom.
